Abstract: Our R and D institutions are fully equipped and up to date for medicinal plant development work. We have highly trained, intelligent and scientific manpower in our institutions. We have large number of public and private hospitals and medicinal experts all over the country. We have all sorts of climatic conditions and health requirements in these conditions. Whole India is a mini world, mini complete world laboratory. We have advanced knowledge and cultural base in health care like Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Sidha etc. We have 5000 year old practiced science of health care. Looking to all favorable conditions, why we have not become a super supplier to the world in this field? Why our share is negligible in world trade of Herbal Health? These and other questions are discussed.
